RT @NFL_ATL: RT @AlbertBreer: Vikings QB Christian Ponder out on the field throwing now. Looks OK. Talking to the trainers too.
Ponder already left the field, about 5 minutes ago. Joe Webb is out here, still warming up. Stay tuned.
RT @NFLGoodwitch: Jay Gruden catching the fade from people but he has a limited QB with a chance to win a playoff game 2 yrs in a row. lol
Yes, you're all right that was a block in the back that would have been declined because of the loss of yardage.
Andy Dalton is 3 of 6 for -8 yards and has less of an impact on this game than Matt Schaub (pick six).
Arian Foster is putting on a clinic for young RBs. Love watching how patient he is.
Put the blame on Andre Johnson there. He should've caught that pass.
Sounds like swelling's been an issue for Ponder. As @JayGlazer said, players were in the dark. Seems there was little doubt Ponder would go.
Always amazed by the quality of the field walking on it here at Lambeau. Not sure why more clubs don't have this surface.
Matt Schaub is the kind of guy that makes you hold your breath when he throws the ball deep.
Hybrid grass RT @PaceTire: @AlbertBreer what surface is that?? Grass?
My kind of half: 75 or so plays, no reviews, 3 fouls, no false starts or offsides and only 1 officiating miss (chop block) of consequence.
Schaub finishes the first half 19 of 26 for 144 yards and an interception that was taken back by Leon Hall for a touchdown. Cincy's Andy Dalton is 4 of 10 for 3 yards. No typo.
Arian Foster has 16 carries for 86 yards.
Former Patriot BenJarvus Green-Ellis has 3 carries for 43 yards. He broke off a 29-yard run in the first quarter for the Bengals.
I don't think anyone really trusts Matt Schaub, even though he's been solid. That one bad pass will haunt him all winter, spring, and summer if the Texans lose this game.
Probably a better question for @JTWahlers than me. RT @ScottValetti: @AlbertBreer @pacetire what is hybrid grass?
It should go without saying, but the Texans have been atrocious in the red zone. 0 for 2 today. Andre Johnson dropped a sure touchdown. Hence three field goals.
The 3 penalties included the one declined offsides.
Webb's here on the field. Ponder's not. Another Viking said he didn't know who's starting, joked "they're doing a great job screwing w/u".
Good call on the kicker being offside. The kicking team foul can be added on to the dead ball spot.
CIN decided to make them rekick after a 5 yard penalty, which they can do also. But it didn't work out well.
I really, really don't like Andy Dalton. Two bad decisions there.
That's interference whether or not the signal was made late. Contact was before the ball arrived.
RT @BobMcGinn: Raw numbers on Joe Webb as 2010 draftee: 6-2 3/4, 223, 40 was 4.45, 42 1/2 vertical jump, incredible 11-5 broad jump, v. ...
Andy Dalton has a 42.4 QB rating so far. My reasons are justified.
Getting Andre Johnson over the middle of the field is huge for Houston. It's where Schaub is comfortable working and it's right in Johnson's wheelhouse, too.
Losing Owen Daniels will hurt big time. Again, Schaub loves those passes over the middle and Daniels is his favorite target.
RT @AKinkhabwala: So, um, @AlbertBreer @RapSheet... is Jay Gruden's HC stock affected after a 1st 1/2 w/ 0 AJ Green targets and 3 Andy D ...
Owen Daniels with 7 catches for 73 yards today.
Touchdown Arian Foster. Texans starting to look like their pre-Patriots disaster selves.
RT @VikingsFootball: UPDATE: QB Christian Ponder (elbow) is inactive. Joe Webb will start in his place, while M. Bethel-Thompson will b ...
Christian Ponder is inactive?!? Whoa...
Vikings QB Christian Ponder is inactive.
AJ Green just blew his decoy status
Sounds like its Joe Webb tonight for the Vikings. Wow. I kind of wonder if it ends up being not the worst thing in the world for Minny
