Boston snow storm coverage, Feb. 5

The snow is beginning to ease up after dropping as much as a foot of snow in some areas of the state. Even as the intensity of the storm winds down, the National Weather Service says people should still exercise caution during the evening commute. Governor Deval Patrick said crews were out and about trying to clear the snow in time for evening traffic. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh's office said about 600 pieces of equipment were deployed to clear the city roadways. The city plans to post police officers at 100 intersections during the evening commute.
