Live blog: Earthquake in Maine felt in Boston area.

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck Maine about 20 miles west of Portland tonight and was felt as far south as Boston, according to the US Geological Survey.

    Yup, felt it in entire addition living room shook and things on the wall were shaking..Felt like something hit the back of my house!

    In Hyde Park (Boston), at 7:12,
    I HEARD more than felt the whole house shake for a few seconds, then it stopped, then started again for a slightly longer period of time. Thought maybe there was structural damage. Immediately called hubby still at work and asked if he felt the earthquake, and he said, "Oh, that's what that was?" Looked it up online, but didn't see any news about it until now.

    Second floor in Cambridge shook like "magic fingers" gone wild for several seconds. Everything rattled, lamp shades swung for almost a minute. No signs of lava.
