I'm in Northern Va and was on phone with daughter who lives in the Lower Mills area of Dorchester when she said, "Whoa, what was that? The bulding just shook!" I asked does she usually feel the train pass or was there any construction on the street. She said "No, I'm on the 4th floor so shouldn't feel that!"... Then she just sent a text confirming that it was the earthquake!

Felt it in Watertown in our 2nd floor apartment. The house just started swaying side to side with a low rumble. I thought it was a wind gust at first and then maybe someone's laundry off-kilter but it was slow and steady and lasted for 10-20 seconds. Was very different. Never experienced one before.
