Live blog: Earthquake in Maine felt in Boston area.

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck Maine about 20 miles west of Portland tonight and was felt as far south as Boston, according to the US Geological Survey.

    I was walking down the hall and the floor under me shook. I fell over and hit my head on the printer. Now I have a big red bump. I hate you, earthquake! Come fight me like a man!

    Felt it in Pembroke. Started out faint like the wind against window then got stronger. A pretty good shake hubby thought he was having convulsion

    I felt it in North Salem , NH . My computer chair vibrated and my monitor rocked back and forth. One Shake then two seconds later , another shake . Lasted all total 20 seconds

    Felt like a raccoon or something was scurrying in the attic or under the bed. My husband, who was downstairs, said he felt the floor shake. Weird feeling! As long as everyone is safe up and down new England. Sherborn

    Could actually feel the rolling waves in West Roxbury for a good four, five seconds. Never felt anything like it around here. All radiators banging loudly.

    We felt it in Shrewsbury too! My daughter's couch and table shook for a few seconds! WOW!
