Live blog: Earthquake in Maine felt in Boston area.

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck Maine about 20 miles west of Portland tonight and was felt as far south as Boston, according to the US Geological Survey.

I'm in Littleton, MA and heard the windows rattle and then the floor was shaking. I could feel it through the couch and thought a large vehicle was passing by.

I felt it very strongly in Winchester for about 15 seconds. I lived in CA for 18 years and I know what a quake feels like, so I knew it was one.
